Hello everyone, my name is Mike Neville and I am a journalism major with a sports media/broadcasting focus. Baseball has always been the sport I am most passionate about and the goal is to work for a major league team as either a play-by-play announcer. I have learned the game of rugby here at Southern and have found myself to become a fan of the sport routing for the New Zealand All Blacks and Sale Sharks. I am a supporter of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Lightening and Boston Celtics who are the top teams I support. I also route for the Phillies, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Rays, along with the Boston Bruins. My top three favorite players are Michael Chavis, Xander Bogarts and Bryce Harper. I am an avid autograph collector and have met all three individuals who have been very hospitable with me during interactions. I admire these players grit and work ethic on and off the field.
